Central Park
Central Park in New York City is one of the top most
attraction and no tourists visiting to New York can miss a
visit to Central Park. New York's most amazing landmark is
spread across 843 acres of land is designed by Calvert Vaux
and Frederick Law Olmsted. Park looks so natural and it’s
really difficult to imagine that it is actually almost
completely landscaped. It offers a range of attractions from
gardens to performance centers, representing the remarkable
culture of New York.

The Central Park features the world famous Central Park Zoo,
along with the Wildlife Center and the Children's zoo. The
Park also has a public swimming pool, tennis courts, two
skating rinks, a carousel and a jogging track. The park
itself is home to several artificial lakes, various
extensive tracks for avid walkers to enjoy and numerous vast
areas of grass which can be used for sporting pursuits. The
park now attracts 25 million visitors every year to enjoy
its hills, lakes and meadow. There are more than 500,000
trees and shrubs, 52 fountains, monuments and sculptures and
9,000 benches to rest on. To get an idea of how big this 840
acre park is, if you walked all the pedestrian paths, it
would add up to 93km.
